STUDENT PLACEMENT – SPECIALIST AUDIO/VISUAL SUPPORT
A fantastic opportunity for a 12 month student placement position this year for an AV specialist to help with some cutting edge streaming video and audio projects. This position is for an undergraduate sandwich course or recent graduate. The year offers an amazing opportunity to play with niche high end products and big international networking challenges.
About the Job
Working within the Strategic Technologies division of Janet you will complete a work package of activities and responsibilities in the Applications Development Team (ADT), designed to develop specialist skills in providing Audio/Visual support for cutting edge network video technologies. Your main duty will be to assist in the development of the Streaming in the Arts and Humanities Project. Working with ADT, you will help to deliver live high-end Audio and Visual demonstrations both on a national and international scale, over the Janet network including at relevant Janet organised events. Throughout the year, the role offers excellent opportunities to gain and demonstrate highly valued technical administration skills.
