Last Wednesday all of us in the world of student television were preparing for one thing, and one thing only. FreshersTV was upon us and the weeks of preparation from producers, publicity officers and presenters across the country came together in a night of pure student entertainment.

  And so here we are. The sun is shining (in this part of the country anyway, sort of) the birds are singing, and the sky is a vaguely acceptable jolly shade of blue. Well, for the moment anyway – but it is early. This can only mean one thing…
