It’s another busy week ahead for NaSTA, as we travel to the NUS/Amnesty Student Media Summit in London. The event focuses on student journalism and features a number of speakers and workshops over two days. The Exec will be there throughout, so if you’re in attendance on either day do seek us out; otherwise, we’ll have a report on the event on the Facebook page next week. More >

Back in March, at the AGM in Glasgow, there were a number of themes which attendees wished NaSTA to pursue, such as securing links with the television industry, raising the profile of the association and bringing member stations together via training and networking events. More >

Earlier today, we unveiled details of Freshers’ TV 2010, and an email from James Goldburn of LSUTV will have reached each station manager’s inbox. This time round, we’ll be staging a one-off live show with equal time allocated to each affiliate, either via live link-ups or pre-recorded VTs, and we’re asking each station to confirm the dates of their Freshers’ Week, and their head of technical’s contact details.
